A New Costco Is Coming to Madison
Madison is set to welcome a new Costco store, marking the city’s first foray with the renowned wholesale retailer near the Clift Farm area.
The new Costco will be the fifth location in Alabama and the second within Madison County. The Costco in Madison will be positioned on Wall Triana Highway at its intersection with Highway 72, close to Clift Farm.
In light of the upcoming store, the Madison County Commission has announced plans to widen Wall Triana Highway into a five-lane thoroughfare, stretching from US Highway 72 to a point north of McCrary Road.
This expansion aims to ease traffic flow and accessibility to the new Costco.
While a specific date for the commencement of construction or the store’s opening remains unannounced, Costco has begun the process of soliciting bids for the project.
