Huntsville City FC Parts Ways With Head Coach Mid-Season
Huntsville City FC has announced that it’s parting ways with Head Coach Jack Collison, effective immediately. Assistant Coach Christophe Berra will take over as the Interim Head Coach for the remainder of the season.
No additional details about Collison’s departure were shared. However, Huntsville City FC released a statement thanking Collison for his time with the team.
The club would like to express its gratitude to Collison for his effort to the team’s development and wishes him the best in his future endeavors.

Collison was named he Huntsville City FC Head Coach on January 18, 2023, and served as the club’s first coach. During his time with the team, he led them to 9 wins, 14 losses, and 9 draws.
Berra will serve as the Interim Head Coach for the remainder of the season and has over 560 appearances in Scotland’s and England’s Premier Leagues and served as a first-team coach for Livingston FC in the Scottish Premiership.
Huntsville City FC’s 2024 season kicked off on March 16 with a 2-2 draw against Chattanooga FC. If you’d like to catch a game, there are two home games this month, on April 13 and April 20. Tickets can be purchased online.
Next time your at a game, you may notice some construction going on in front of Wick’s Family Field. That’s for the Stadium Commons development which is going to 70,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space to the area, along with offices, multi-family housing, a hotel, and a parking garage.
