Das Stahl KaffeehausDSK Presents: An Early Taste of Fall: When Nate was thinking about this year’s Restaurant Week, he knew he wanted to do something different, especially since this is our 1st year for the Kaffeehaus to participate. He decided maybe it was time to try to teach old dogs new tricks, which led him to the Ube yam. Hailing from the Philippines, Ube the purple yam is known for its mildly sweet taste, earthly undertones, slight nutty taste, and, of course, purple color. Ube having all those characteristics is a versatile addition to any kitchen in every setting. At Das Stahl Kaffeehaus we push the limits of what people expect from us and pride ourselves in our uniqueness. Now we will never have a pumpkin spice drink on our menu but you can try what we think could be the all-star of our fall lineup a little earlier than expected. We hope you stop by and see what new ideas we are brewing up!

Das Stahl Bierhaus8/17: DSB and DSK Present: It’s Still Hot in Here Summer Event:
On Saturday the 17th DSB and DSK are delving deeper into that heat that has plagued us all summer. At our stores we pride ourselves in coming up with off the wall ideas. Sometimes those ideas are ridiculously terrible, other times they seem to bloom into something crazy awesome. We think this event has the opportunity to be one that blooms. We will be putting up at least 4 kegs that have some heat behind them, one of which we are using a Randall to mix in some spicy goodness to that beer. To pair with such an adventurous idea, we are doing custom made dip charcuterie boards. So come out on the 17th, if you think you can handle the heat! We plan to keep it lit all day! Prost!
