Osteria LuCa Bringing Italian Charm to Stovehouse in 2025
An authentic taste of Italy is making its way to Huntsville’s Stovehouse in early 2025. Osteria LuCa, a celebrated Italian eatery from Charlotte, North Carolina, is set to open its doors next year, inviting locals to experience the rich flavors and welcoming atmosphere inspired by traditional Italian osterias.
Known for its handmade pasta, artisan pizzas, and curated Italian wines, Osteria LuCa will be located at 3414 Governors Drive SW #705 in Huntsville’s historic Stovehouse complex.
The vision behind Osteria LuCa is rooted in the straightforward charm of Italian osterias found throughout regions like Tuscany, Piedmonte, and along the canals of Venice.
These restaurants are community-centric spaces that serve as gathering spots, offering good food, good wine, and good company.
Osteria LuCa’s founders sought to bring this sense of warmth and simplicity to their North Carolina location, and now, they’re extending that vision to Huntsville.
The new Stovehouse location will feature an open and airy layout, enhanced by floor-to-ceiling windows, a marble bar, and communal tables that encourage sharing and conversation.
A pizza bar will be a focal point of the restaurant, where guests can watch skilled pizzaiolos handcraft pizzas using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
The menu will include a range of Italian specialties—from hot and cold antipasti to house-made pasta, wood-fired meats, and fresh seafood.
To complement the food, the restaurant will offer a diverse selection of craft beers, specialty cocktails, and a carefully chosen list of Italian wines.
“When we looked to expand, we wanted to partner with someone who shared our commitment to quality and community,” said Ken Martino, owner of Osteria LuCa in Charlotte.
“Power Brands Hospitality Group, with their strong ties in Huntsville, was the perfect fit. Their dedication to exceptional service and creating a vibrant dining experience made them a natural partner for this new venture.”
The addition of Osteria LuCa will be a standout at Stovehouse, which has become Huntsville’s go-to destination for dining, drinks, and entertainment.
Originally built as the Martin Stamping and Stove Factory in 1928, the complex has been revitalized to honor its industrial roots while providing a unique space for food and fun.
Visitors can still spot historical features, like the original steel trusses, colorful compressors, and vintage machinery scattered throughout the campus.
Osteria LuCa will join an eclectic mix of eateries and local businesses at Stovehouse, including Kamodo Ramen, Wok’s Up, and El Cazador.
The Stovehouse development is designed to be a lively community space, hosting everything from live music and fitness classes to local markets.
Whether visitors want to sip coffee at Charlie Foster’s, peruse unique home décor at Peachtree Interior Design, or catch a show at The Electric Belle, there’s something for everyone.
With its focus on simple yet elegant Italian cuisine, Osteria LuCa is set to become a beloved gathering place for food lovers in Huntsville.
The restaurant aims to create a space where guests feel like family, offering high-quality dishes and exceptional service that will keep them coming back.
As the newest addition to Stovehouse, Osteria LuCa is poised to add even more flavor and excitement to Huntsville’s ever-growing food scene.
