Huntsville’s 3rd Annual Halloween Party and Haunted House Promises a Night of Fun
The Huntsville Police Department (HPD) and Huntsville Parks & Recreation are once again teaming up to bring back a community favorite event this fall.
The third annual Halloween Party and Haunted House is set to take place on Sunday, Oct. 27, from 4-9 p.m. at The Orion Amphitheater, located at 701 Amphitheater Dr. NW. The event is free and promises plenty of entertainment for all ages.
“We’re excited to continue this Halloween tradition for the third year,” said Chief Kirk Giles. “It’s an opportunity for us to engage with the community in a fun and safe environment. We’re looking forward to seeing all the families out there for a memorable night.”
Costumes are optional but highly encouraged. Attendees can look forward to a variety of activities, including:
• Trunk or Treat
• Bounce houses
• Carnival games and family-friendly entertainment
• Food trucks
• A Haunted House starting at 6 p.m.
James Gossett, Director of Huntsville Parks & Recreation, shared his enthusiasm about collaborating with HPD to make this event happen again.
“This event has grown each year, and we’re thrilled to work with the Huntsville Police Department to bring it back for our community,” Gossett said. “It’s a chance for families to come together, enjoy some great activities and celebrate Halloween in a safe and fun setting.”
In addition to the games and treats, local businesses and nonprofit organizations are invited to take part by hosting candy booths for trick-or-treaters.
