Located on South Parkway (there is also a second location on University), Big Rosie’s is basically a nicer version of Little Rosie’s. The food is great and the servers are friendly. If you’re headed out with a group of friends or out-of-town guests, Big Rosie’s is the perfect place to take them to get a glimpse of Huntsville’s best Mexican food.
El Herradura

Phil Sandoval’s

Nestled into the Univesity Place Shopping Centre, Phil Sandoval’s has become one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Huntsville. It’s a nice and clean sit-down restaurant with friendly staff. Oh, and the food is incredible!
Any of their tacos are a safe bet and their tortillas are made fresh. If you’re looking to switch it up though, on of my favorite meals is the steak fajitas. Oh, and don’t forget to ask for the complimentary ice cream when you’re done too!
Charritos
Located in the Village of Providence, Charritos has one of the best margaritas in Huntsville. It’s known for its fresh squeezed Lime Margarita which is definitely worth a try.
You’ll also want to try the Rocket City Taquitos, Chicken Rice, Street Tacos, and the Mega Quesadilla. With a great atmosphere and some of the best Mexican food in Huntsville, you’ll definitely want to try Carritos in the near future!
